Geelong Ring Road (VIC 2006-11)
Following various installations along the Geelong Ring Road Stages 1, 2 and 3, AusGroup supplied and installed the total package for Stage 4A under subcontract to Fulton Hogan. Stage 4A included 5 separate sound walls of varying heights comprising a total of 2300 bays: RHS posts (galvanized and painted), rusted Corten steel panels and acrylic panels. The different grades and wall inclinations required careful planning and cutting to achieve the seamless finish intended by architect Wood Marsh.
This project presents another example of AusGroup’s capability to successfully deliver challenging architectural noise walls projects.
